“We value everyone”

Adults with learning difficulties such as dyslexia have a 46% higher chance of attempting suicide than those without such difficulties. Anxiety at school and in the workplace is common among dyslexics, and college drop-out rates are high. But we care, and we believe that every single one of us is important. And if we had never valued people with dyslexia – people such as Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs, Pablo Picasso, and Eleanor Roosevelt – where would we be today?
